Fully equipped hall
De Hoorn is equipped with an extensive package of professional equipment. Going from sound system, DJ Booth, sound and light, beamer & screen, microphones, ... De Hoorn also provides everything from furniture (enough chairs & tables, an extra large table for presents and a separate loge).
Decoration and signage
We provide table decoration & menu cards, as well as decoration at the entrance of the ballroom and signage in and around the building. Do you have a special theme in mind? Our dynamic and experienced event team is happy to think along and can refer you to our quality decoration partners for customization.
Catering, drinks & service
Our in-house caterer Papillot is an innovative partner that stands for quality and flexibility. Before the party starts, you can enjoy a degustation menu if desired.

Not a traditional wedding party in mind? Would you like to work out something customized? Do you like to choose your own catering and drinks?
A little further on in the Vaartkom is our iconic Studio Manhattan with cool 80's bar. In the 80's it was the biggest disco of the Benelux where many big names came to perform. Later the location was transformed into a recording studio for, among others, Tien om Te Zien and Thuis.
Customization is possible in Studio Manhattan's two party rooms. Here you have complete flexibility and you can choose your own catering, drinks and technology if desired.

No, we provide all the service needed and supervise the event. We work with our own team that has years of experience in the event industry
You can certainly do that, you can bring everything yourself except candles, firework sticks and confetti.
No, everything in terms of cleanup is included in the price of the hall.
The rooms may be rented until 4 a.m. at the latest.
The heritage rooms are equipped with:
- Up to twelve round tables. Our tables come in three sizes: from 5 to max 11 people. All round tables and chairs are included in the rental price.
- Desired number of bar tables and max twenty stools, to be divided over both halls (stools can of course always be rented in addition).
- Beautiful cast iron buffet tables for catering or your own decoration
Still need something extra? Be sure to discuss it with our event team. Everything can be rented: decoration, chairs, benches, etc.

We work with our regular caterer Papillot who offers high quality. So with us you can enjoy not only our fantastic location, but also Papillot's culinary delights. In our Studio Manhattan in there is more flexibility. There you can work with your own caterer.
Just a two-minute walk away is Parking Vaartkom, with space for up to 1,000 cars. Moreover, this parking facility is also the cheapest in Leuven. For those who want to be a real gentle(wo)man, there is the possibility to provide exit tickets for your visitors yourself.
Both locations are located on the Vaartkom just over a mile from Leuven Station. A short walk of max 20 min or a short bike ride will get you to De Hoorn in no time. The nearest bus stop is Engels plein (line bus 601), a 5-minute walk from both locations.
